Realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus molecular research of apple (Malus) gene resources established that apple cultivar Charaunitsa proved to be a source of quantitative trait loci (QTL) which determined the resistance to fire blight (Erwinia amylovora) and gene Sd1 of resistance to rosy leaf curling aphid (Dysaphis devecta Walk). On the basis of Charaunitsa cultivar there received 739 seedlings of 8 apple hybrid families of which 146 hybrids were selected from nursery to a hybrid orchard. The results of applying the technology of molecular markers for selection of resistant apple hybrids to fire blight and rosy leaf curling aphid are given in the present investigation. In each hybrid families there were revealed from 25 up to 80% of samples in genome of which there was marked a QTL of resistance to fire blight. Thirty-two genotypes carrying simultaneously QTL of resistance to fire blight and Sd1-gene of resistance to rosy leaf curling aphid were identified. Control of Sd1-gene transfer was executed by its linked marker, while the control of QTL of resistance to fire blight was done by its flanking molecular markers.
