In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was studied species composition and diversity of phytophages in European cranberrybush (Viburnum opulus L.) plantings. The phonological observations over host plants and phytophages development were realized in the conditions of orchards of the Institute for Fruit Growing (Belarus). Research results showed that the main pests both in accordance to indexes of their frequency of occurrence and in accordance with their number in European cranberrybush plantings in Belarus were the following: water elder leaf beetle (Galerucella viburni Payk.); beet aphid (Aphis fabae Scop.); rose tortrix (Archips rosana). European fruit lecanium (Parthenolecanium corni corni Bouch.) brought damage sporadically. The degree of pest colonization of realeased varieties of European cranberrybush (Taezhnye rubiny; Shukshinskaya; Kievskaya sadovaya; Souzga; Zarnitsa; Krasnaya grozd'; Ulgen) did not depend on varietal features of a plant and to some extent was determined by a number of insects. Useful fauna in European cranberrybush plantings was presented by Phytoseiidae family and Himacerus apterus F. from Nabidae family.
