Analysis of natural, climatic and soil conditions of the Republic of Belarus shows that development of agricultural production requires land reclamation improvement of agricultural areas. Unstable rainfall level along with drought periods demands regular irrigation, because a lack of water declines crop yields. Vegetables, potato, technical plants and perennial grasses are the crops which should be irrigated first of all. In average in the Republic water deficit during potato (Solanum tuberosum) vegetation period composes 30-70%; this leads to crop yield loss of 20-50%. The ways of crop yield increase due to irrigation are outlined; the influence of irrigation on agricultural crops yield (white cabbage (Brassica oleracea convar. capitata var. alba L.); cucumber (Cucumis sativus); bulb onion (Allium сера); carrot (Daucus carota)) level is evaluated. Technical means used for irrigation are compared and analyzed. Irrigation device UD-2500 and pump station SDN-100/80 is presented. Sand-and-gravel filter is displayed. Liquid filtration advantages are evaluated. The system of irrigation machines is shown.
