Puzevich, K.L., Belarus State Academy of Agriculture, Gorki (Belarus)
In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was stressed the necessity of designing combined aggregates which can perform several technological operations in one passage. In particular, special attention was given to combination of the main and pre-sowing cultivation of soil. There were suggested variants of the problem solution – ploughing with additional soil treatment by a device of finger-knife type and soil-cultivating vertical cutter, equipped with elliptical knives. There were shown advantages of suggested constructions and experimental data. In course of the study there were presented results of examination of trial sample of a plough with some extra appliances of finger and knife type. Research results showed that application of active working organs for soil tillage and their interchange and combination made it possible to increase fertility, yielding capacity and labour productivity, as well s to lower the number of passways of plowing outfits over a field, and a result, to lower the total weight of engines of outfits and do not break its mechanical composition.
