PRODUCTIVE BEHAVIOR OF PIGS IN IT FEEDS FED WITH RICH HONEY OF CANE OF SUGAR | COMPORTAMIENTO PRODUCTIVO DE CERDOS EN CEBA ALIMENTADOS CON MIEL RICA DE CAÑA DE AZÚCAR

Existen evidencias experimentales que indican la posibilidad de utilizar la miel rica de caña de azúcar como única fuente de energía en dietas destinadas a cerdos, sin alterar los rasgos de comportamiento de estos. Por otra parte, cuando las mieles ricas de caña de azúcar se comparan con los cereales en igualdad de condiciones, con consumos similares de energía metabolizable, no existen cambios substanciales en la composición de la canal en cerdos de 60 y 90 kg de peso vivo. Asimismo, se ha dicho que cuando las mieles ricas sustituyen a los cereales en las dietas suplementadas con harina de soya para cerdos jóvenes, se observa un incremento en la digestibilidad de la materia seca y la materia orgánica. Por otra parte, se ha sugerido que para el buen aprovechamiento de las dietas con miel rica se requiere de un buen balance energía/proteína y una suplementación rigurosa de vitaminas y minerales. Sobre este aspecto ha sido informado que en dietas isonitrogenadas (3.2 g/100 g de MS) en las que las mieles ricas sustituyeron al maíz de la dieta, la utilización metabólica de la energía bruta aumenta, con un incremento en la digestibilidad de N, aunque la retención de este último permanece igual. Quizás esta menor eficiencia metabólica del N pueda ser causada por un incremento del N disponible a nivel sanguíneo, por lo que una disminución de este en la dieta podría mantener los mismo parámetros productivos a menor costo. El presente trabajo se ejecutó con el objetivo de evaluar el comportamiento productivo y a calidad de la canal de los cerdos, al sustituir totalmente, el maíz por miel rica invertida de caña de azúcar en la alimentación de cerdos de ceba, a partir de los 25 kg de peso vivo hasta alcanzar el peso al sacrificio.

They exist experimental evidences that indicate the possibility to use the rich honey of cane of sugar like only energy source in diets dedicated to pigs, without altering the features of behavior of these. On the other hand, when the rich honeys of cane of sugar they are compared with the cereals in equality of conditions, with similar consumptions of energy metabolizable, substantial changes don't exist in the composition of the channel in pigs of 60 and 90 kg of weight I live. Also, it has been said that when the rich honeys substitute to the cereals in the diets suplementadas with soya flour for young pigs, an increment is observed in the digestibilidad of the matter dry and the organic matter. On the other hand, it has been suggested that for the good use of the diets with rich honey is required of a good balance energy/protein and a rigorous suplementación of vitamins and minerals. On this aspect it has been informed that in diets isonitrogenadas (3.2 g/100 g of MS) in those that the rich honeys substituted to the corn of the diet, the metabolic use of the gross energy increases, with an increment in the digestibility of N, although the retention of this last one remains equally. Maybe this smallest metabolic efficiency in the N can be caused by an increment from the available N to sanguine level, for what a decrease of this in the diet could maintain the same productive parameters at smaller cost. The present work was executed with the objective of evaluating the productive behavior and to quality of the channel of the pigs, when substituting totally, the corn for invested rich honey of cane of sugar in the feeding of pigs of it feeds, starting from the 25 kgs of weight I live until reaching the weight to the sacrifice.
