Español; castellano. Se emplearon 40 cerdas nulíparas Duroc x Hampshire. Las hembras en celo fueron inseminadas con un peso de alrededor de 96.5 kg por el método de IA, apartir del segundo celo, con semen fresco y diluido a una concentración de 5x109 células espermáticas, de sementales CC21. Los animales confirmados al cumplir 30 días de gestación se sacrificaron con 106.8 kg de peso vivo promedio y se determinó la morfometría del tracto reproductor. Las medias fueron: longitud del cuerno derecho e izquierdo 172.79 y 180.10 cm; peso del cuerno derecho e izquierdo 1820 y 1880 g;longitud de vagina y vulva 28.8 y 5.6 cm; peso de vagina y vulva 141.8 y 55.1 g; peso del ovario derecho e izquierdo 6.6 g y 7.2 g; cuerpos lúteos del ovario derecho e izquierdo, 5 y 5; número de embriones en el cuerno derecho e izquierdo 4.68 y 4.86, tasa de ovulación 11.40, mortalidad embrionaria, 16.84 %. Mostrar más [+] Menos [-]Inglés. Forty Duroc x Hampshire gilts were used in this study. The gilts on second heat were inseminated with fresh and diluted semen (5x109 spermatic cells) from CC21 boars. The gilts weighed about 96.5 kg. The pregnant gilts were slaughtered at 30 days of gestation. The morphometry of the reproductive tract was carried out taking into account the following measurements: and means: slaughter weight 106.8 kg; length of right and left horns 172.79 and 180.10 cm; weight of right and left horns 1820 and 1880 g; length of the vagina and vulva 28.8 and 5.6 cm; weight of the vagina and vulva 141.82 and 55.1 g; weight of the right and left ovaries 6.6 g and 7.2 g; number of corpus luteum of the right and left ovaries 5 and 5; number of embryos on right and left horns 4.68 and 4.86 respectively.
