Relación concentración-efecto del bromacil para el cultivo del maíz (Zea mays L.) en suelo ferralítico rojo

Ante la posibilidad de rotación de cultivos se determinó el umbral fitotóxico del Bromacil para el cultivo del maíz VST-6 Plano Grande; se investigó la afectación que producen sobre el peso seco de las plantas los residuos en suelo de este herbicida a las concentraciones de 0,1; 0,075; 0,050 y 0,025 mg/kg. El estudio se realizó en un suelo ferralítico rojo con pH 6,6 en suspensión acuosa y 1,76 por ciento de materia orgánica. Se utilizaron en los ensayos macetas de 5 kg de capacidad y cuatro réplicas por concentración. La evaluación de los resultados se realizó a los 30 días contados a partir de la emergencia de las plantas y consistió en determinar el por ciento de afectación medido como disminución del peso seco de las plantas de maíz, en comparación con un testigo sin tratamiento; el empleo del método de los mínimos cuadrados permitió obtener una DE 16 o umbral fitotóxico en el experimento de 0,017 mg/kg.

Having the possibility of rotating the crops was determined the phytotoxic threshold of Bromacil order to cultivate corn (Zea mays L.) variety VST-6 Big Plane, where was investigated the affectation that produce on the dry weight of the plants the residues in soil of this herbicide to the concentrations of 0,1; 0,075; 0,050 and 0,025 mg/kg. The study was in a Red Ferralitic soil with pH 6,6 in water suspense and 1,76 percentage of organic matter. ln the experiments, plant pot of 5 kg of capacity and four repetition per concentration were used. The evaluation of the results was made thirty days after sprouting of the plants and consisted in determining the a percentage of affectation measured as the decreasing of the dry weight of the corn plants concerning to a witness without treatment and using the minimum square's method it was permitted obtain the ED16 or phytotoxic threshold in the experiment of 0, 017 mg/kg.
