Efecto de la temperatura sobre la incidencia de Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn y Sclerotium rolfsii Sacc en frijol y tabaco en condiciones in vitro

Se estudió en condiciones in vitro la incidencia de Rhizoctonia solani Kühn y Sclerotium rolfsii Sacc en frijol (Phaseolus vulgaris L, var Bolita 2) y en 4 variedades de tabaco (Nicotiana tabacum L) P-1-6, Corojo, C-30, Cab 72 bajo diferentes rangos de temperaturas (16, 20, 24, 28, 32, Y 36°C). S. rolfsii produjo las mayores lesiones en frijol entre 32 y 36°C mientras que R. solani produjo lesiones mayores entre 24 y 28°C. El ataque de R. solani en tabaco ocurre en todas las variedades entre 24 y 28°C. Las variedades Corojo y C-30 mostraron daños menores ante R. solani.

The incidence of Rhizoctonia solani Kühn and Sclerotium rolfsii Sacc. was investigated under in vitro conditions influenciated by different temperature ranges (16, 20, 24, 28, 32 and 36°C). One bean variety (Bolita 2) and four tobacco varieties (P-1-6, Corojo, C-30 and Cab 72) were screening against these two pathogens. S. rolfsii caused the longest lesions in the bean plant between 32 and 36° C, therefore, R. solani between 24 and 28°C. In the the tobacco varieties, the attak of R. solani ocurred between 24 and 28°C. The varieties Corojo and C-30 showed the lowest damages by this fungus.
