In 2008-2009 experimental plots with organically grown strawberries cv. Elsanta, Honeoye and Symphony were evaluated in two climatically different areas in the Czech Republic (Cejkovice, Lednice). The effect of humic acid preparation Lignohumate B and bioregulator Synergin on yield and refractometric dry matter content was tested. Cultivar suitability for organic growing was evaluated as well. Supplementary plant preparations did not significantly influence the yield or soluble solid content. Significantly higher yields were found in the region of South Moravia (Lednice). Elsanta reached the highest yields, followed with Symphony, which significantly differed to Honeyoe with the lowest yields. Symphony had significantly higher refractometric dry matter content than Honeyoe and Elsanta.
