The sugar is considered as one of the most strategical commedities locally and internationally. The production of sugar depends on the crops of sugar cane and the beet. The sugar can shares in producing the sugar with about 67.95%, whereas the Beet shares in with about 32.05%. The production of the sugar arises to be 1.778 million tons after adding the sugar that comes from the corn and others. Whereas the national consumption of sugar of the same year (2008) was about 2.642 million tons. That there is a sugary gap which is about 864 thousand tons which can covering it through importing from abroad . Because of the restrictions on increasing the cultivated area of the sugar cane, so that the only solution to increase the sugar production is increasing the area and the produduetivity of the beet crop But the sugar production qualification depends on many factors and variables the technical and agricultural processes for producing the crop, and preparing processes of the crop for the supplment, beside the sufficiency of providing the beet crop to the sugar factories. The study relied on the published data, in addition to applying questionaire to collect the primary data required for the research subject through a random sample collected from Sharkia Governorate (El-Hosaynia, Awlad Saker and Faqos distrikts). The total number of sample is about 375 farms cultivated with sugar beet in agricultural season 2008/2009. The results showed that: The cost of cleanup the crop was about 198.81/per feddan which is about 40.64%, and the cost of the process of transporting the crop to the head of the field was about 154.04 pounds per feddan which is about 31.48%, whereas the cost of lading the cars of the factory was about 136.4 pounds par feddan which is about 27.88%. of the whole cost of preparing crop for supplement processes which was 489.24 pounds per feddan.
