Evaluation of the local knowledge and traditional activities , Yelated to soil and water resouces management , is prerequisited for scientithc and advanced watershed management During the investigation of traditional soil and water approaches , the Contribution of rural people in watershed Plans and the amount of benefit and losses were assessed through interviewing and appling questionnaires simultaneousely, they were compaired with advanced watershed management. The results , which have been extracted from 75 questionnaires and interviews , show the following : More than 36 percent of the responders have pointed, traditional watershed management in mountaineer areas with an old back ground has had vitaly important for over 50 years. lt was responded by 55.3 percent of responders that besides soil and water conservation, increasing of Crop yields was main object of watershed managment About to 16.8 percent T of samples have been cultivated by strawberry during the horticulture activities, specially in western and eastern Javeroud. 62.2 precent of the family's livelihood are mostly based on traditional exploitation , the dependence ofthe rest was low in this respect . · The study has been resulted that among warious practices which used in order to soil and water conservation, Banquate with 4,30 economical efficiency and 25 years scpetancy, y then terraces with 2.52 efficieny and 20 years septany have more flourishing in study area. i Straw berry in comparing with other crops has the most economical efficiency. Thence _ mecanical activites are costly, most of responlers (approxinately 93.3 percent) are r satistified provided to governmental guidance and extention servieces.
