Assesment of chemical composition of agricultural industrial by-product in Gorgan area

In order to prepare standard tables of chemical composition and gross energy of feedstuffs in Golestan Province, in northern IRAN. The samples were chemically analyzed, using of standard procedures.Thirty sample of wheat straw, 30 sample of barley straw, 12 sample of rice straw, 23 sample of soybean straw, 10 sample of pea garden residuals, 9 sample of sunflower residuals, 8 sample of broad bean residuals, 8 sample of corn straw, 6 sample of pumpkin by-product, 6 sample of lettuce residuals, 7 sample of water melon ashrub, 8 sample of cucumber ashrub and 9 sample of melon ashrub were taken for chemical analyses. Also 31 samples of wheat bran, 30 samples of wheat middling, 26 samples of wheat grain screenings, 26 samples of rice bran, 24 samples of broken rice, 9 sample of tomato pomace, cotton seed meal were collected from milling factories and oil mill and sauce factory. The results show that the average of crude protein, eater extraction, ash, crude fiber and N.F.E in wheat straw respectively were 3.5::1::0.44, 1.21::1::0.64, 7.15::1::1.73, 42.59::1::2.83 and 45.59::1::3.51 percent; in barley straw were respectively 3.51::1::0.57, 1.11::1::0.37, 6.59::1::1.98, 41.68::1::3.67 and 47.15::1::3.48 percent; in rice straw were respectively 5.07::1::1.05, 0.99::1::0.24, 13.64::1::2.01, 36.21::1::3.77 and 44.09::1::2.26 percent; in soybean straw were respectively 4.81::1::1.02,0.82::1::0.37,5.99::1::1.15,46.09::1::5.78 and 42.29::1::5.23 percent; in corn straw were respectively 3.59::1::0.56, 0.41::1::0.22, 4.77::1::0.88, 36.08::1::3.54 and 55.14::1::3.54 percent; in broad bean residuals were respectively 14.04::1::2.50,3.36::1::1.18, 9.21::1::1.09, 26.62::1::3.23 and 46.78::1::6.13 percent; in pea garden residuals were respectively 13.41::1::2.43, 2.84::1::1.61::1:: 7.56::1::1.82, 30.21::1::3.06 and 45.98::1::4.47 percent; in sunflower residuals were respectively 5.64::1::1.37, 2.45::1::1.70, 11.41::1::2.27, 35.92::1::4.33 and 44.58::1::3.78 percent; in water melon ashrub were respectively 12.71::1::2.05, 5.85::1::1.47, 17.89::1::2.30, 22.24::1::5.67 and 41.30::1::4.29 percent; in melon ashrub were respectively 13.51::1::1.03, 3.55::1::1.43, 21.92::1::2.54, 17.39::1::2.30 and 43.63::1::4.90 percent; in cucumber ashrub were respectively 16.19::1::2.13, 2.08::1::0.44, 23.49::1::1.87, 20.75::1::3.54 and 38.24::1::2.89 percent; in pumpkin by-product were respectively 15.20::1::0.5, 1.39::1::0.32, 19.49::1::4.07,28.07::1::4.13 and 35.87::1::8.66 percent; in lettuce residuals were respectively 20.20::1::1.35, 2.43::1::.46, 15.02::1::.99, 13.33::1::.94 and 48.68::1::1.09 percent. Also the average this nutrient in wheat bran were respectively 14.63::1::1.38, 3.33::1::.68, 4.56::1::0.77, 12.05::1::1.29 and 64.25::1:: 4.13 percent; in rice bran were respectively 8.13::1::1.61, 6.73::1::1.69, 14.88::1::2.30, 30::1::4.86 and 41.27::1::7.20 percent; in broken rice were respectively 9.88::1::0.94, 0.96::1::0.83, 0.65::1::0.44, 2.75::1::1.28 and 85.76::1::2.18 percent.; in wheat grain screenings were respectively 9.95::1::1.83, 2.13::1::0.74, 5.13::1::1.91, 14::1::2.96 and 68.82::1::3.80 percent; in wheat middling were respectively 14.86::1::2, 3.41::1::1.39, 5.65::1::3, 8.27::1::2.93 and 68.84::1::6.74 percent; in cotton seed meal were respectively 34.92::1::8.36, 8.06::1::2.75, 5.40::1::0.92, 18.28::1::4.44 and 33.34::1::7.44 percent and in tomato pomace were " respectively 16.78::1::1.06, 5.89::1::1.67, 4.27::1::1.08, 10.92::1::2.37 and 32.06::1::2.94 percent.The calcium content were 3.02% for cucumber ashrub and 0.05% for broken , rice. The broken rice had the highest C.V. (23.08%) and broad bean residuals had the lowest (0.85%). The phosphorus content were fluctuated from 0.59% for tomato . pomace to 1.67% for rice bran. The C.V. value for soybean straw was the highest (15.62%) and wheat straw was the lowest (1.17%). The average content of the potassium were fluctuated from 4.56% for lettuce to 0.53% for soybean straw. Water melon ashrub had the highest C.V. (16.78%) and melon ashrub had the lowest (0.98%). The magnesium content were fluctuated from 0.06% for sunflower residuals to 20% for cucumber ashrub and the C.V. value for sunflower residuals was the highest (16.67%) and soybean meal was the lowest (1.29%).The average content of Fe were fluctuated from 4281.02 mg/kg for tomato pomace to 59.57 mg/kg for '. . broken rice. Rice straw had the highest C.V. (17.42%) and melon ashrub had the. lowest C.V. (0.15%).The Mn content were fluctuated from 14.67 mg/kg for broken .' ,', rice to 408.46 mg/kg for rice bran. Rice straw had the highest C.V. (16.94%) and , lettuce had the lowest C.V. (1.21%). The density of Cu in cucumber ashrub was . " 40.55 mg/kg and in broken rice was 3.71 mg/kg. Cucumber ashrub had the highest '. C.V. (39.38%) and cotton seed meal had the lowest C.V. (2.61 %). The Zn content were fluctuated from 127.77 mg/kg for wheat bran to 6.04 mg/kg wheat straw. The . highest C.V. belongs to wheat middling (12.89%) and the lowest one belongs to the wheat grain screenings (1.66%). .
