In order to study the effects of various levels of Bitter Vetch (Vida ervilia) Seed, and common vetch seed (Vida sativa), in diet on growth performance and some carcass characteristics of broiler that is abundantly available in Ardebil province, an experiment was conducted. We have collected 30 sample of Vida ervilia Seed and Vida sativa Seed from main field in the cities Ardebil, Germi, Meshkin shahr and Razey and after mixturing, them we have provided a sample for the measuring of chemical composition. The average of dry mater, gross energy, crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, ash, ca and p in Vida ervilia Seed were respectively 92%, 4355 Kcal/KgDM, 24.2%, 1%,6%,2.5%, 0.42% and 0.32% in Vida sativa Seed, 93%, 4278 Kcal/KgDM, 31.5%, 0.5%, 6.4%, 3.2%, 0.6% and 0.48%. In the present study Bitter Vetch (0,10,20 and 30 %) were compared with common vetch (0,10,20 and 30 % ), in starter and grower diets for broiler chickens. All birds were fed ad libitum an experimental ration. The same management system was adopted for all birds, reared up to 42 day in 21 floor pens on poultry house. The experiment was carried out using factorial method (2X4) in a completely randomized design with four treatments and three replications. First factor was two type of legumes (Bitter Vetch and common vetch seeds raw), second factor was four levels of both legumes (0, 10, 20 and 30) in diet of standard adjusted as NRC (1994) that fed to 1050 one-day old broiler chicks. The average values of total body weight gain in diets content Bitter Vetch and common vetch seeds raw for control group, the first, second and third treatment groups were 2202, 2030, 1725, 1542 and 2205, 2155, 1919, 1799, , respectively. At the periods of starter and growth increasing levels legumes, average daily gain(ADG), feed intake(FI), feed conversation ratio(FCR) and body weight were reduced while at the period of growth FI and FCR was not significantly affected at these levels and two type oflegumes (P0.05). However, the inclusion of 20and 30% both two type legumes seeds in the diets decreased. These levels and type legume affected the percentage values carcass, liver, gut and gizzard. However, it can be, concluded that the various antinutritive factors have probably contributed to performance of chicks fed with these levels and two types of raw legumes more than level of 10% used this condition experiment (P0.05). The results of the experiment showed that Bitter Vetch and common vetch seeds raw are suitable alternative for soybean meal and com seed at the levels up to 10 % of the diet broiler without adverse effects on growth performance and carcass characteristics
