Employment of macrophytes to establish the ecological quality of the River Imula | Makrofītu izmantošana Imulas ekoloģiskās kvalitātes noteikšanā

Inglés. Here are summarized results of macriophyte cenosis of 2009. The aim of the research was to evaluate the ecological quality of the river Imula by macrophyte species composition. Species composition and projective covering of macrophytes were established in the summer of 2009. Estimation of macrophytes was performed at 10 segments in the river Imula and the length of every representative segment was 100 meters. Biotope description of every representative segment was also carried out. Shannon index, IBMR and MTR index and saprobity were calculated for characterizing river stretches according to species composition of macrophytes and its covering. The results showed that the Imula is a highly nutritive river with relatively great macrophyte species diversity.

Pētījuma mērķis ir noteikt Imulas ekoloģisko kvalitāti pēc tajā sastopamo makrofītu sugu sastāva. Augstāko ūdensaugu sugu sastāvs un to projektīvais segums tika pētīts 2009. gada vasarā 10 Imulas posmos, kur katra reprezentatīvā posma garums bija 100 m. Bez makrofītu sugu izpētes tika raksturoti arī upes posmu biotopi. Upes posmu raksturošanai pēc makrofītu sugu sastāva un to procentuālā pārklājuma aprēķināti Šenona, IBMR un MTR indeksi, kā arī saprobitātes pakāpe. Pēc iegūtajiem rezultātiem Imula atbilst ar barības vielām bagātai upei, kurā sastopama relatīvi liela makrofītu sugu daudzveidība.
