The present studies were carried out on the repellence activity of plant oils against Red flour beetle, Tribolium castaneum (Herbst.) in wheat. The culture of T. castaneum was obtained from the laboratory of Stored grain NARC, Karachi University. The samples of pure, clean and healthy seed two hundred (250) grams of wheat were taken into the glass jars. The four plants oils i.e. Mustard oil, Coconut oil, Sesame oil and Rocket seed oil (Jambho) were used for the grains treatment. It was observed that plant edible oils effected on developmental stages of red flour beetle, which is responsible for causing heavy damage and weight losses to the grains of wheat. The results indicated that all the oils gave better results in reducing the production of T. castaneum. However, among oils, the Rocket seed oil, statistically gave better results when compared with other oils and control.
