Naked oats constituted the research material. The experiment comprised two factors: diverse sowing rates of 200, 300, 400, and 500 grains per 1 square m and nitrogen fertilization dosages of 0, 30, 60, 90, and 120 kg N ha power-1. The increase in the dosage of nitrogen from 0 to 120 kg N ha power-1 caused the grain yield, protein content in grain, and protein yield of naked oats to rise. The level of this rise decreased along with the increasing level of N fertilization dosage. A higher grain yield of naked oats was found, significant in the case of the grain sowing rate of 300 grains per 1 square m compared to the sowing rate of 200 grains per 1 square m . The differences in the grain yield levels of individual objects investigated were caused by the changing number of pinnacles per one area unit and by the varying number of grains in one panicle; on the other hand, the differences in the weights of 1000 grains were smaller
