Seasonal changes in the abundance of cereal aphids on maize

The research was carried out on maize grown in monoculture. Insects were counted once a week on 50 plants during whole growing season. Three species of cereal aphids were found on the maize crops in Opole province: Rhopalosiphum padi L., Metopolophium dirhodum (Walk.)and Sitobion avenae (P.)H.R.L. R. padi was definitely the dominant one
