Nine characteristics in eleven selected Oblacinska sour cherry clones were studied. The clones were compared with the standard (unselected Oblacinska sour cherry). During the three-year period of study the lowest average yield was found in the clone XI/3 (7.90 kg/tree), and the highest one was found in the clone D8 (19.80 kg/tree). Fruit weight ranged from 2.97 g (clone D10) to 5.01 g (clone XI/3). The clone II/6 showed the lowest soluble solids content (14.07%), whereas the highest soluble solids content was recorded in the clone D10 (19.06%). Total acids content ranged from 1.12% (clone D3) to 1.54% (clone XI/3). Compared to yield, physical and chemical characteristics of fruit, investigated clones were generally better or of the same quality as the standard. The clones D4 and D8 stand out for a high yield, the clone XI/3 stands out for its large fruit, whereas the clones D10 and VII/2N stand out for fruit quality, so in accordance with their purpose, they can be recommended for the recognition and introduction in the production respectively.
