Modern PE films has afforded several benefits in greenhouse climate control, significant savings of resources, machines and labor cost, as well as efficient control of plant diseases and pests. Photoselective films could have significant application in Integral Pest Management systems for vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs. Antivirus films have decrease application of pesticides for the suppression of aphids, white fly, thripses, leaf miners and other pests and affording efficient pollination and biological protection. Effects of particular films application and methods of its combination in order to achieve better energy efficiency of the protected cultivation of horticultural crops have been presented.
