Proper mineral nutrition of red clover, especially on acid soils is a prerequisite for the realization of maximum potential for seed yield. The field experiment was set up in the soil pH of 4.8 with the aim of the individual plants in terms of planting rows (70 x 40 cm) in eight genotypes of red clover analyze the effect of foliar application of phosphorus and potassium on seed yield and yield components (stem number per plant, inflorescence number per stem, inflorescence number per plant, flower number per inflorescence and fertility). Foliar application of phosphorus and potassium at the stage of intensive growth of red clover had a positive impact on: inflorescence number per stem, inflorescence number per plant, flower number per inflorescence and seed yield.
