The aim of this paper is to examine what are the parameters and how they move their values 8 weeks after birth in cows that are to 70 days postpartum showed signs of estrus (10 cows) and cows in which estrus was absent (10 cows). The concentration of NEFA and BHB is lower (1 and 4 weeks) in cows with visible oestrus to 70 days postpartum. Cows that have established estrous cycle in this period have a significantly higher concentration of protein and glucose (1 and 4 weeks) and significantly lower concentration of urea (1, 4 and 8 weeks). The concentration of phosphorus is higher in cows with visible estrous cycle (4 and 8 weeks). Concentration of cholesterol, AST, ALT and Ca showed no significant difference in two groups of cows.
