This study shows the importance of safe water quality, for satisfying of requirements for water of cattle. It was pointed at the most important organoleptical, physical-chemical, and microbiological parameters that are necessary for water. The second part of study, presents the formulas for calculation of requirements of cow for water. It has been concluded that the accomplishing of requirements of cows for water, as well as the qualities of water considering the hygiene, are the main preconditions for good health of cows and higher production of milk which is hygienic and sanitary secure. Thus, water quality should be controlled by accredited institutions and laboratories.
