Cultivar Riesling Italico belongs to the group of cultivars that are used for production of high quality white wine. This cultivar is recognized to have many synonyms. Within the research was done in the Nis winegrowing region (Serbia). Riesling Italico was compared to the clones Nemes Olaszrizlig and Olaszrizlig B 20. During the two-year experiment, main elements of yield and grape quality were studied. By studies of main elements of yield within the cultivars Riesling Italico and its clones Nemes Olaszrizlig and Olaszrizlig B 20, it is determined that both clones showed better characteristics than Riesling Italico being as a standard. Studied grape quality was much better in standard cultivar than in clones.
