This paper denotes the possible directions of natural mineral resource uses, especially emphasized on zeolite, which have the same purpose defined in environment and human health protection. Although there are huge investigations and applications of natural and modified zeolites as adsorbents for different types of pollutants decade backwards, the scientist are trying to find the new approach of its use, considering its properties, performances, abundance and relatively low cost. Here are presented some of the possible applications of this mineral that are done and developed in ITNMS in recent years. One of them is based on application of these minerals as a part of thermal energy storage system, and another one considers its application in combination with another natural mineral-apatite, as safe and cheap fertilizers of acid soils.
