Phytoremediation based on the usage of native plant species represents one of the most promising eco-designed methods for revalidation of the main qualitative features of this multifunctional system - fertility, prevention of invasive plant species with the re-establishment of ancient ecosystems. The application of this method is considered a solid base for sustainable development in Serbia and at the global level respectively.
