Research of economically important pests attacking trunk and branches of cypress has been published in the period from 2001 to 2004, in the central and south part of Montenegro, at the area of cypress existence. Researches have been performed at 43 localities in Montenegro: wider area of Podgorica, Herceg Novi, Tivat, Kotor, Budva, Petrovac, Bar and Ulcinj. Material at the field was collected by direct triming of trunk’s bark and collecting material for raising. Trunk parts: lower part of the trunk, middle and upper part, branches of the first third of the trunk, branches in the middle of treetop and upper ones were specially separated and put into photoeclectors where insects have been raised. During these researches of entomofauna on trunk and branches of cypress in Montenegro, 13 species of insects has been concluded, and 11 species or 85%, for the first time, has been registered in Montenegro.
