Natural stands of Goč Austrian pine aged 70-90 years was researched in FMU Maljen- Ridovi on Mt. Maljen. The study stands grow on eutric rankers and shallow eutric brown soils on serpentinites. The research was focused on the environmental conditions, stand state and the development of diameter and height of mean trees of 20% largest trees in the stand. The silvicultural requirements were determined based on the study results, and the appropriate silvicultural operations were recommended, i.e. thinning in the concrete site and stand conditions.
