On the present more and more world food quantity demands, the role of the agriculture machine producers is very important trough the permanent target to improve the functionally and operationally capacity of the agricultural machinery system to can achieve the proposed goals of increasing the agricultural productivity and also to can make possible the application in agriculture of the newest technologies [3]. From human labor, through animal power, to mechanical power - agricultural machinery systems have evolved to meet the challenge but this continue development has been fueled by a need to increase productivity, reduce human drudgery, and decrease peak labor demands [6]. A powerful and very effective instrument in the management of the development of the agricultural (or food industry by analogy) machinery system is represented by the practical application of the systemic approach. Using a sets of specific indicators based on quality and morphology criteria's the problem presented in present paper bring into the focus the specific systemic approach in agricultural (food industry) in the context of the agricultural aggregate design, development, modernization and life cycle problems they can solve. The particularly application is make trough the study of a vegetable roots picker aggregate and is presented some results of how the systemic indicators can be use in design and future development of aggregate management. It important to mention that the same theoretically approach can be applied to food industry machinery system because of used mechanically mechanism similarity.
