Inglés. In this study is aimed determining of characteristics and problems about physical planning of the rural settlements in Tunceli-Ovacık district and suggestions for solution of these problems. Investigated villages in this study are classified as mountain, forest and lowland. The mountain and forest villages are unplanned dispersed settlements and lowland villages are unplanned collected settlements. Three village were determined in the three different settlements and three farm were selected in every village. The total 27 farms were investigated.

Kırsal yerleşimle ile yöresel düzeyde yapılan bu araştırma, Tunceli- Ovacık yöresindeki mevcut kırsal yerleşimlerin fiziki planlamalarıyla ilgili özellikleri belirlemek, yöredeki yerleşim sorunlarını ortaya koymak ve bu sorunların çözümüne yönelik önerilerde bulunmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada incelenen kırsal yerleşimler dağ, orman ve ova köyleri şeklinde sınıflandırılmıştır. Etüt bölgesinde dağ ve orman köyleri plansız dağınık yerleşim, ova köyleri ise plansız toplu yerleşim şeklindedir.
