The objective of this study was to determine the effects of substrates prepared by the mixtures of sawdust and wood-chip of oak and beech with tea waste (TW) on the yield and quality of Ganoderma lucidum (Fr.) Karst. mushroom. The study was carried out at the laboratory and mushroom production room of University of Ondokuz Mayıs, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture. In the study, moisture, pH, ash, N and C content, and C/N ratios of substrates, and also days to first fruiting and yield were determined.

Bu çalışmanın amacı meşe ve gürgen hızar tozu (ince talaş) ve odun yongası (kaba talaş) ile çay atığının belirli karışımlarından hazırlanan yetiştirme ortamlarının Ganoderma lucidum (Fr.) Karst. mantarının verim ve kalitesi üzerine etkilerini belirlemektir. Çalışma Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Bahçe Bitkileri Bölümüne ait mantar üretim odası ve laboratuarlarında yapılmıştır. Yetiştirme ortamlarının nem, pH, kül, N, C, C/N oranları ve mineral madde içerikleri belirlenmiş, ilk primordium oluşum süresi ve verim tespit edilmiştir.
