Determination of seed transmitted fungal diseases of alfalfa, sainfoin and common vetch plant | Yonca, korunga ve fiğde tohumla taşınan fungal hastalık etmenlerinin belirlenmesi

Fungal flora of alfalfa, vetch and sainfoin seeds of 10, 4 and 3 samples collected from state farms, agricultural research institutes and private firms were determined by blotter and agar methods, in 2005 _ 2006 years. Some fungi were tested for then pathogenicity. The most widespread fungi found on blotter test of alfalfa, sainfoin and vetch seed samples were Rhizopus spp., Alternaria alternata, and Penicillium spp. respectivly. In agar method the commonest fungi were Alternaria alternata on alfalfa and sainfoin seed samples while it was Penicillium spp. on vetch seed samples. The highest number of genera were determined on blotter method. Alternaria alternata was pathogenic on alfalfa, A. tenuissima on vetch Fusarium solani on sainfoin while F. equiseti on vetch.

Turco. 2005 - 2006 yıllarında 4 adedi Tarım İşletmeleri, 1 adedi Doğu Anadolu Tarımsal Araştırma Enstitüsü'nden ve 5 adedi özel sektör tohumculuk firmalarından alınan toplam 10 adet yonca, Tarım İşletmeleri'nden alınan 4 adet fiğ ve 3 adet korunga tohumlarında nemli hücre ve agar yöntemi kullanılarak fungal flora saptanmıştır. Tohumlardan izole edilen funguslardan tohumla taşınma ihtimali olanlara patojenite testi uygulanmıştır. Nemli hücre yöntemiyle yonca tohumluklarında en yaygın fungus Rhizopus sp., korunga tohumluklarında en yaygın fungus Alternaria alternata, fiğ tohumluklarında ise en yaygın fungus türleri Penicillium spp. olarak tespit edilmiştir. Agar yönteminde ise yonca ve korunga tohumlarında Alternaria alternata, fiğ tohumlarında Penicillium spp.'nin en yaygın funguslar olduğu ortaya konmuştur. En fazla fungus cins ve türü nemli hücre yöntemiyle elde dilmiştir. Alternaria alternata'nın yonca, A. teunissima'nın fiğ ve Fusarium solani'nin korunga, F. equiseti'nin fiğ bitkilerinde patojen olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
