Data on buried soil sof Godedzor chalcolithic settlement (Armenia)

Inglés. The aim of the current work is to clarify the type belonging to the culture level soils of Godedzor site and to recover the ancient landscape in the environs of the settlement. Settlement is unique as transient from Late Chalcolithic to Early Bronze Age period and represents one of origins of ancient Kuro-Araxian culture (35th/34th – 23rd centuries B.C.). The territory of the site covered with mountainous black soils at present. However, in the past, at Chalcolithic (Eneolithic) period, the vicinity of settlement has been covered with mountainous brown soils. It means that micro-climate of canyon was more dry and warm than now and landscape of that territory represented mostly dry steppe.
Mostrar más [+] Menos [-]Ruso. Были исследованы некоторые почвенные характеристики погребенных почв энеолитического поселения Годедзор (около 3500 лет до н.э.). Сопоставление с современным почвенным покровом как самого поселения, так и прилегающей к нему территории, показало, что в прошлом поселение располагалось на горных коричневых почвах, в то время как современный почвенный покров представлен горными черноземами. Полученные данные дают основание предположить, что в период энеолита в ущелье р.Воротан, где находилось поселение, климат был более сухим и теплым, чем в наши дни, а ландшафт был представлен в основном сухой степью.
