In this study, 59 donkeys divided into 4 age groups, reared by private owneres in Gorno Kapinovo, Madzherito and Zagore were investigated. Total leukocytes - G/L and differential leukocyte counts - eosinophils, metamyelocytes, band and segmented neutrophils, lymphocyte and monocytes were determined. It was found out that the values of determined blood parameters were the highest in donkeys aged between 5 and 10 years. There was a tendency towards reduction in both total leukocyte counts and a separate WBC classes in donkeys older than 15 years. There was a very high correlation studied parameters.
