About people, practising the intrauterine insemination, very important about the final result is determination the optimal period for application of the sperma. The aim of the present study, is to investigate the ovarian function in young sheep and uterine reaction after induction of synchronous oestrus in anoestral season. The studies were performed on 12 young sheep, aged 18 months. We synchronized the oestrus, with assistance of tampons Chronogest, with 30 mg active substance Cronolone. We made the synchronization by the following schema: First day –putting the tampons - 500 UI PMSG, 12-th day – bringing out the tampons. Via laparoscopy, in intervals of 6 hours, from 40-th to 74-th hour, we were reporting the uterine reaction - by the system of Manolov and the ovulatory answer of the ovaries. We found, that there is a positive tendency for increasing the number of the developing follicles from 3,363±0,369 for 52-nd hour, to 4,364±0,753 for 76-th hour. The parameters of variation are for 52-nd and 58-th hour from 2 to 6 numbers of follicles and for the interval from 64-th to 76-th hour 1-8 numbers of follicles. The first ovulations in the young sheep are approximately 12 hours lately, i. e.from 53-rd hour, compared to the sheep, in whom it starts at 46-th hour. The number of the ovulated follicles, increases parallelly to the number of the developing follicles. The average number of ovulations, per head are for 70-th hour, for the right ovary is 1,0. About the left ovary for the sheep group, the average number of ovulation is 0,82 against 0,64 about the young sheep group i.e., with 0,18 numbers on behalf of I-st group. As a whole, the average number of ovulations per head - for 70-th hour in the sheep, is 2,01, and in the young sheep 1,64 numbers or with 0,46 numbers of ovulations per head more on behalf of the sheep.
