The possibility of movement of transport tractor TK-215T with reversed driver seat opens ways for further development of its construction. The article presents results of a study on the creation of modifications of the tractor by utilization or elimination of the space released by the drivers seat in its rotation around the steering column. The proposed modifications with extended loading platform and shortened wheelbase would expand the applicability of the transport tractor in small farms for behalf of the possibility in the first case to carry loads with longer size, and in the second case to carry out transport operations in the buildings with limited amount of space. In order to optimize the parameters of tractor modifications according to their area of wider use a supporting structure was designed for fixed connection of the loading platform to the tractor. It was examined the static stability of the newly developed modifications of the transport tractor TK-215T with full and empty loading platform. The results obtained give grounds to assert that suggested schemes are viable and developed in their means of transport have the necessary qualities to be implemented as a reliable assistant to farmers in small farms.
