Main nitrogen-containing cyclic compounds (including alkaloids) are synthetized by plants, especially by leguminous and solanaceous. Alkaloids appear dual substances: positive medicinal materials and negative chemical compounds, harmful for animal health. Lupine is a cultivar unique for animal feeding, but content of alkaloids makes it toxic. Control of toxic elements in lupine plants appears an important problem of quality feed production. The main goal of the research is the analysis of the spectral properties of the main alkaloids of lupine and their metal complexes, and receiving of experimental information about relations between chemical structure of lupine alkaloids and their spectral properties. The analysis of spectral properties of lupine alkaloids is made with the help of method of Raman scattering. The Raman spectra of sparteine and lupanin salts are experimentally obtained, which are the basic lupine alkaloids. The essential opportunity of spectral method development for the analysis of alkaloid contents in agricultural products is shown.
