In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results on studying the character of Colorado potato beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say) incidence and development under national conditions. Research results showed that Colorado potato beetle prevails in 98-100% of potato (Solanum tuberosum) sowings. The influence of abiotic and trophic factors on changing the pest phenology, biology, ecology taking place in time and space is determined. It is determined that the bioecological Colorado potato beetle peculiarities in different regions of the Republic have a significant zonal differentiation. Potato plant development and phytophage stages contingency is studied on different by maturation varieties cultivated in different ecological conditions. In the central zone of the Republic at early-ripening potato varieties the number of larvae varied within the limits from 23,0 up to 65,1 subjects per plant; in late-ripening varieties – from 12,0 up to 45,3, while in the southern regions of the Republic - for late-ripening plants the same indexes varied from 36,6 up to 47,7 subjects per plant.
