In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented factors influencing phytophage space incidence in spring crops (barley (Hordeum vulgare); wheat (Triticum aestivum); oat (Avena sativa); triticale (Triticosecale)) and winter crops (rye (Secale cereale); triticale and wheat). The migration peculiarities, concentration and settling of cereal flies, cereal leaf beetle, cereal aphids and thrips, cicads, bugs, cereal stem fleas and beetles along grain field at different stages of plant development were revealed. Research results showed that application of peculiar features of spatial distribution of phytophages made it possible to determine tactics of realization of agrotechnical and chemical plant protection measures against pests. Realization of several preventive measures (arrangement of sowings of cereal crops by their non-stubble preceding crops, maintenance of spatial isolation of cereal sowings from pest reservations and wintering grounds) made it possible to lower the number of grain thrips and cereal chafers.
