Winter triticale (Triticosecale Wittmack) is a hybrid cultivar of rye and wheat, effectually combining valuable characteristics of both cultivars. It is used as food and feed raw material along with beer and wine producing. Crop yield and grain quality of triticale depend on mineral nutrition of plants and fertilizers' application. Therefore, the most effective dozes of mineral fertilizers under winter triticale are calculated according the crop yield and grain quality level. Influence of fertilizing system on crop yield level is shown; impact of mineral fertilizers on grain quality of triticale is analyzed. Nutritive elements content in grain and straw of triticale is analyzed. The results of the research on the influence of mineral fertilizers on the yield and quality of winter triticale to be cultivated in grain-grass crop rotation after red clover on sod-podzol loamy sand soil show that split application of 150 kg/ha of N150 (N90 at the beginning of vegetation + N30 within the phase '1st joint of shooting' + N30 within the phase 'last leave') against P40 K80 and aftereffect of 40 t/ha-1 of straw manure provide triticale yield 72.6 c/ha-1, at the same time protein content in grain is 12.4% and protein yield is 768 kg/ha-1. In case of the optimal yielding capacity there was the following content of nutritive elements in grain: nitrogen - 1,95; phosphorous - 0,90; potassium - 0,63; calcium - 0,04; magnesium - 0,17. Their content in straw was the following: N- 0,42%; P2O5 – 0,18; K2O - 2,04; CaO - 0,20 and MgO - 0,11%.
