The most important features of soil formation process nowadays are prevailing of anthropogenic factor in formation of component composition of soils. Anthropogenic influence is especially considerable on plowed lands. It leads to development of special classification of artificially-formed soils. In the Republic of Belarus soils, developed as a result of human's activity are named cultural anthropogenic soils. The article presents the results of the research of composition and properties of cultural anthropogenic soils (hortic anthrosols) on the basis of which the basic elementary soil processes comprising a part of soil forming process are diagnosed. Spectral reflecting ability of the soils is evaluated. Profile distribution of the fractions of physical clay is presented. Profile distribution of main mineral phases (no less than 1 micrometer) in cultural anthropogenic soils is shown. Average indexes of physical and chemical properties of cultural anthropogenic soils are calculated. Characteristics of structural status of agricultural horizons of the soils are presented. Humus content of cultural anthropogenic soils is analyzed. Main soil-forming processes are analyzed and classified.
