In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was studied the rate of mass accumulation, survival rate, fish productivity, forage expenses and resistance to such disease as inflammation of the swim bladder (ISB) of 13 complex fish species crossed of European carp (Cyprinus carpio) with mirror squamous integument. There were found particular crosses possessing the increased specific combining ability with the expressed effect of heterosis according to the studied indexes. The most perspective crosses for fish production were recommended for the further selection work to form a basis of breeding of mirror carp. In course of the study there were presented schemes of crossing of complicated crosses; results of rearing of fingerlings of different origin; expression of heterosis effect and specific combining ability at complicated crosses. As a result of the realized comparative analysis of fish breeding indexes and resistance to air bladder disease fingerlings of complicated three- and five-breed crosses there were determined combinations which possessed heterosis effect and specific combining ability both according to separate indexes and according to a complex of traits. As a result there were reared fingerlings which revealed the heterosis effect with all analysed traits.
