In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was presented a calculation of thermo-technical characteristics and the main structural parameters of a space heater (fire-chamber stove) V-800 working on local kinds of solid fuel. The industrial prototype of air heat was produced at JSC Berezinskij Rajagroservis and successfully passed state acceptance inspection. The realized research included determination of the main heat engineering and aerodynamic properties of heating and heat-exchanging apparatus. In course of calculation and experimental studies it was necessary to determine constructive parameters of the heating, flue system, and afterburner chamber of exhaust flue gases. New technological solutions for the development of a space heater V-800 of a new generation (the afterburner chamber of exhaust flue gases; firebox with variable combustion behavior; highly efficient recirculating airflow plate-type heat exchangers) made it possible to provide the uniform fuel combustion, lower temperature difference in fuel and make it competitive not only in Belarus but also abroad.
