In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was realized a derivation of an equation of trajectory of a cutter of a receiving disc relatively to a feeding one in their reciprocal action. There was studied this trajectory and substantiated methods of calculation of the amount of inclination of a cutter concerning the radius of the corresponding disk. The object of the study was mechanism of thinning of layer-forming device of a disk type. In the course of the study there were used methods of analytical geometry, mathematical analysis and differential calculus. On the basis of the realized studied there were developed parametric equations of the trajectory of a top of a cutter of the receiving disk in relation to a feeding one in their interconnected movement. It was shown that a trajectory was an elongated hypocycloid. It was stated that curvature of trajectory in the area of a cutter movement of the receiving disk was insignificant.
