In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in Mogilev, Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, and Minsk regions there was realized evaluation of some samples of grain crops of barley (Hordeum vulgare), pea (Pisum), oat (Avena sativa) from several regions of reproduction with application of the methods of short-range infrared spectroscopy within the limits of development of procedure of accreditation area expansion of Seed Quality Test Laboratory of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy. The method has received development in 1968 and by present time proved to be one of the core ones for estimation of quality of agricultural production abroad. As the result of the realized research it was revealed that in samples, obtained in conditions other than those of calibration group, the percentage of abnormal specters was rather high. If calibration procedure was made on samples of the northeast of the Republic of Belarus, it would be not applicable to samples of others soil and climatic regions. The differences in the structure of specter in samples with different regions of reproduction were determined. In course of the study it was recommend taking into account obtained results during plant product quality control with the use of the method of short-range infrared spectroscopy.
