Possibility of pike (Esox niger) larvae breeding with the starting mixed feed application was investigated in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. Larvae of 7 days old were divided into two groups (control and experimental) and were used in an experiment. It was established that the use of artificial feed enables to fulfill growth potential better and get a more homogeneous larva in respect of weight. Density of planting was 20 000 units/m3. The water was changed by 6 l/min with temperature 17-18 deg С. Research result showed that optimal density planting was 20 000 units/m3. Pike larvae increased till 50 mg of weight and 20-22 mm of length during 7 days. Day doze of feed was 100% from total mass input in fish-breeding volume. Larvae survival was 70-80%.
