In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was developed a vibrator-pneumatic separator (vibropnevmoseparator) for seed cleaning of cereal crops from spurred rye (Claviceps purpurea). It contained new design solutions which could significantly increase the degree of purification and thus reduce the loss of seeds with contaminants. There were presented the obtained graphical dependences of the separation, purification efficiency and operational parameters' productivity. Research results showed that the proposed vibrator-pneumatic separator provided the coefficient of seed cleaning from spurred rye clavus equal to 94-95%. At the same time, the maximal coefficient of cleaning was obtained in case of inclination angle of cancellated concave alpha = 5,1 angle degree and angle of action of additional force from electrovibrator beta = 42,7 angle degree. The presented vibrator-pneumatic separator could be successfully used in grain cleaning machinery for the preparation of high quality seed material.
