The meta-PEN – sharing and disseminating methodological experiences.

The presentation reviews the methodology used in the PEN project with the aim of improving on the methods used and the way in which they are put into use. Hence, the focus is on both methodological aspects and the practicalities of implementation. Criteria for selection of research sites and communities; criteria for selection of research sites and communities; setting the research team; pre-survey field work; extra-survey work; and future developments are discussed.
