In order to determine the best planting pattern and optimum plant density, in rapeseed, an experiment was conducted in Varamin agriculture research center in strip plot model with 4 replications. Main plots were planting method including one row with 60 cm width ,two rows with 60 cm width, two rows with 50 cm width and one row with 50 cm width. Sub plots were seed rates, including 6, 8 and 10 Kg per hectares . The variety under study were Zarfam and the number of plants per hectares checked and Adjusted in Square meters after complete establishment of plant. Each plot included 4 rows bys Meter length. traits under study were ,Germination date, Flowering date, plant height, Number of capsules, in main stem, seed yield, 1000 kernel weight, date of maturity and oil content. The 2 year combined analysis revealed a non significant difference between plant densities. Where as, a significant difference (p0/001) were detected in seed rate treatments. A rate of N kg per hectare produced the highest seed yield (3628/09 kg/ha) . The lowest seed yield were recorded in The rate of 10 kg in the density of 666666 plants per hectares with 3163/1kg/has.
