Foliar application of nutrients lead to saving in fertilizer use and reducing of risks of their adverse environmental aspects. The leaves can receive plant nutrients in the shorter time by the method. However, the use of any new fertilizer products for each crop should be based on research to evaluate their effects and to obtain information about amount, time and method of application of the fertilizers. In order to study effect of Aminomicropower (AMP) fertilizers on yield and yield components of rice plant, a field experiment was conducted in 2010 in Rice Research Institute of Iran- Deputy of Mazandaran. The experimental design was as factorial based on randomized block design with three replications. Concentration with two levels (3 and 5 milliliter per liter), and application times with six levels (1. spraying of AMP in nursery, 2. in nursery+ in panicle initiation stage, 3. in nursery+ in late flowering stage, 4. in nursery+ in panicle initiation stage+ in late flowering stage, 5. soaking seedling roots in fertilizer solution for 15-20 minutes and 6. spraying in middle tillering + middle booting stage) were two factors. In Control we used only NPK fertilizers with no foliar application of AMP. Nitrogen and other fertilizers applied after soil analysis based on technical instructions of Rice Research Institute. Grain yield, biological yield, harvest index, plant height, tiller number, panicle length, number of filled and hollow grain per panicle and 1000- grain weight were determined. Results showed that application time of AMP has not statistically significant effect on yield at different growth stages of Shiroudi cultivar, however, rice grain yield due to the fertilizer use was in often treatments more than control (without spraying). Maximum grain yield obtained from spraying in nursery treatment, that 4.9% (369 kg/ha) was more than to the control. Also concentrations of solution did't show significant differences on grain yield and yield components.
