A fundamental problem in plant breeding is the relation between selection environment and target environment. Direct selection in the target environment is preferred. However, in practice this is not feasible because of the high costs involved. Normally, therefore performance of new crop varieties will be tested in a number of field research stations. To determine varieties adaptation to various environments, the results of research stations will be tested in the farmer fields. In this research 8 breeding lines genotypes and local barley with Sararood-1 as checks, were tested in Ravansar, Dalahoo and Sarfiroozabad regions of the Kermanshah province, using randomized complete block design with 3 replication. In conclusion based on results of regional and combined analysis of variance and agronomy characteristics of genotypes, no line was selected.
